Whoever converses among old books will take a lot of work to please among the new. Antique and vintage books teach you about your ancestors and tell stories about their readers. You can see where fingerprints touched the pages and how long they lingered on a page. I especially love it when an old book contains an inscription from one person to another. It is a window to a stranger's soul.
